Treasure Island Comic Con welcomes Mark Pennington graduated from the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in 1985. He began his career doing designs for the 'G.I. Joe' and 'Transformers' toy lines by Hasbro and Mattel. By 1988 he became a comic book inker, starting with 'Judge Dredd' and 'Blaine'. Since then he has worked for major publishers like Marvel, DC, Image, Now Comics, Adventure Comics and CrossGen. He has inked titles like 'Eclipso', 'X-Men', 'Violator', 'Angela', 'Death: Time of your Life', 'Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight', 'Backlash', 'The Tenth', 'Spider-Man', 'Fantastic Four', 'Fright Night' and 'Shade'. Mark is currently self publishing whatever his heart desires. 

Treasure Island Comic Con welcomes Alex Riegel is currently working on Ninja Funk for Whatnot Publishing. Alex is an incredible talent known for his amazing pop art style. He has worked with Image Comics on various titles and covers and cofounded Adversary Comix.

Treasure Island Comic Con welcomes Jef Whiting. Jeff is a fantastic talent that has worked on various well known comics in the industry that include: The Tick, Street Fighter, World of Warcraft and Prototype! Welcome to the Amazing talent line-up!

Treasure Island Comic Con welcomes Kyle Willis. Kyle is an amazing self taught artist working with all types of mediums. Kyle's art has been featured in IDW (TMNT), Archie and Charter Comics to name a few. Come see him on October 11th 2025 and get an original piece of art, exclusive comic, amazing remark or just a fun conversation with an all around swell human being.

Treasure Island Comic Con welcomes Larry Watts. Larry recently closed his Kickstarter for his project Ghost Baby. Congrats Larry! In addition to his recent project, Larry has also worked on Evil Dead Comics and designs awesome t-shirt graphics. We can't wait to see you at the show!

Treasure Island Comic Con welcomes Kenny Calderon of Wild Inx Studios this October as our next guest artist. Kenny is not only a fantastic artist but also an amazing mentor to up and coming artists fostering the next generation in the industry. We can't wait to see the 🔥 you bring later this year 🙌

Treasure Island Comic Con welcomes Chris Hrdlicka aka Crumzart who will be in attendance for our first show.
Chris is a fantastic artist who has found great success on Whatnot and even featured on some very successful Convention exclusives. Chris is a family man who loves to attend conventions with his wife whenever he gets the chance. 

Treasure Island Comic Con welcomes Sidney Davidson who is a sequential artist living out of Gainesville, FL.  He is the creator (writer, artist, colorist and letterer) of imPURRfect.  He teaches at the Sequential Artist Workshop, and works as a colorist for Mad Cave.  He is the father of the internet famous cat, Fat Laila.  He lives with his wife, son, and three cats.
